Statement of Beliefs

We believe the God we serve is the One True God, who created the universe. He is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. Genesis 1:1, Revelation 1:8 We believe God exists eternally as three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Deuteronomy 6:4, I Timothy 1:17, Matthew 28:19 We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, God incarnate, born of the Virgin Mary, who came to earth for the salvation of our souls. Hebrews 1:8, John 1:1-4, Matthew 1:23 We believe Jesus ministered on the earth without sin, was persecuted, and was obedient to His Father, even to death on the cross. Jesus was the living sacrifice for the sins of all men, shedding His blood. This was the will of our Father for His great love for us. Hebrews 4:15, I Peter 2:24, I Peter 3:18, Matthew 26:39, John 3:16, I John 3:1 We believe Jesus rose from the dead on the third day with victory over death. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father where He is the head of the church and intercedes for believers. He will return to receive His people and judge the souls of mankind. I Corinthians 15:4, Hebrews 12:2, Colossians 1:18, Hebrews 7:25, II Timothy 4:1, Revelation 19:11-16 We believe that through profession of faith, confessing to the Lord that we are sinners, asking for His Forgiveness through the blood He shed on the cross, and asking Him to come into our lives, we are saved from eternal death and given the gift of eternal life. Romans 3: 22-25, John 3:16-18 We believe the Bible is the living Word of God, Holy and Inspired by the Holy Spirit, given to us as a standard by which men should live. Colossians 3:16, Matthew 4:4, II Timothy 3:16 We believe that as children of God, redeemed through faith, we are called according to His purpose to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
