4th Wall Ministry-About Us

4^th Wall is a cross-denominational youth ministry that reaches otherwise unreachable youth and changes otherwise unchangeable paths.
4^th Wall has traveled thousands of miles and has been seen by thousands of people. Since the first Tour in 2000, the group has visited juvenile detention centers, at-risk youth centers, churches and other locations throughout West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and Florida.
More than 20 participants from nearly a dozen churches continue this amazing outreach. At-risk youth and particularly those who have already made life-mistakes benefit tremendously from this presentation. Young people who’ve witnessed 4^th Wall presentations have found purpose and new focus from this life-changing experience. Young people who are already Christian are also moved and deeply touched by the message of this ministry.
4^th Wall presents the Gospel at least 20 times a year throughout our region. Many souls are reclaimed for the Kingdom at the foot of the cross, and the seeds of His unconditional love are planted in uncountable broken hearts. When possible, each youth who responds to the message of 4^th Wall is given a Bible, and local Christians volunteer to provide regular mentorship and guidance.
The show addresses real life issues that tear at the souls of the young people in our society, including drugs, crime, sex, abortion, domestic abuse, and abandonment. The presentation vividly portrays the chains that imprison us and the intervention offered by Jesus Christ. 4^th Wall gives a glimpse into the incredible redemptive love offered us all -- no matter where we've been, no matter what we've done, no matter what's been done to us, He still loves us and offers us forgiveness and hope.
The 4^th Wall ministry continues to grow and flourish from its small beginnings just a few short years ago. God is doing a mighty work, and we are humbled to join Him in reaching His lost children. Each participant in 4^th Wall has been blessed in sharing the message, and we crave your prayers that this ministry will continue to glorify God and touch lives in a positive way.

WHAT DOES 4TH WALL MEAN, ANYWAY?

The 4^th Wall is a drama term; on a stage there are three walls, and one wall is left open for the audience. The 4^th Wall describes the invisible wall between the audience and the actors. The actors keep this 4^th Wall intact by keeping in character and not letting the audience distract them.

As Christians, we want to stay focused on God and not get distracted by the things around us. However, God wants to use us to tell others about Him and help those around us; it’s called “breaking through the 4^th Wall.” We continue to focus on God, but we “break through” that invisible barrier and let God use us to impact those around us, or wherever He sends us.

He has a purpose for every one of us. He is at work all around us, and we join Him. It is amazing to be used by God.
